Display and Design
The Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. This high refresh rate is intended to deliver smoother animations, responsive scrolling and fluid gameplay in supported games.
The display also supports high peak brightness, helping users view content in bright surroundings. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides additional protection for the screen.
The phone features a cyber-mecha-inspired design that matches its gaming identity. Its Black Abyss and Red Blaze colour options give users a choice between a darker finish and a more striking gaming look.
Performance and Gaming Features
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, built using a 4nm manufacturing process. It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
This hardware is designed to handle demanding mobile games, multitasking and everyday applications. Actual gaming performance will depend on the game, graphics settings and temperature conditions.
One of its major highlights is the pressure-sensitive GT Trigger system. These shoulder controls can be assigned to different in-game actions, allowing players to control supported games without relying entirely on the touchscreen.
The phone also includes the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system, designed to help manage heat during extended gaming sessions. Better thermal management can help maintain more consistent performance, although results will vary with usage.
Camera Features
The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The primary sensor is designed to capture detailed photos, while the ultra-wide camera is useful for landscapes and group shots.
For selfies and video calls, the phone features a 13MP front camera. The rear camera supports video recording at up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, while the front camera supports 4K recording at 30fps.
Although the device prioritises gaming, its camera setup should also cover everyday photography and social media needs. <Cite refs={[“turn643332search0″,”turn643332search1”]}/>
Battery and Charging
The smartphone packs a 6,500mAh battery, which is designed to support long gaming sessions and everyday use. Battery life will depend on screen brightness, network connectivity, gaming intensity and other settings.
The device supports 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging. It also offers reverse wired and reverse wireless charging, allowing it to supply power to compatible devices and accessories.
Gaming Accessories and Connectivity
Infinix has introduced compatible gaming accessories, including the GT NX Controller, GT NX Station and GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0. These accessories are designed to extend the gaming experience with additional controls, external-display functionality and cooling support.
The smartphone also offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Its IP64 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes, but the phone is not designed for immersion in water. <Cite refs={[“turn643332search0″,”turn643332search1”]}/>
